Description:

Pileus 5 cm broad, plano-convex, suede-like texture, subviscid on disc, dry toward margin, pale cinnamon brown on disc, yellow toward margin. Flesh white, unchanging with mild odor and taste. Tubes deeply adnexed, vinaceous pink, bruising pale brown, with pores likewise. Stipe 4 cm x 8 mm, dry, white with a bit of yellowish orange at base, lacunose reticulate, with hollow interior. Spores 14-19 µm long, faintly wrinkled to perhaps subpunctate (100x).

Sclerophyll. Eucalyptus pilularis, Allocasuarina, Leptospermum. Solitary. On sand.
