Vascular types are filed separatly from the general collection; fern types are with the fern collection on the 5th floor, and phanerogamic types on the 3rd floor. They are filed by their basionym and in the same numerical family sequence as the rest of the herbarium. 

Paratypes, topotypes, and type photographs are filed in the general collection. 

Types found in the general collection, unmounted types, & types annotated by visitors can all be given to Amy Weiss in person (154B) or if she's not in her office, left in the sorting room here:
