Projects are used to organize records created for a specific grant-funded project (like the Macrofungi TCN) or for any group of records hard to find via regular searches (like Intermountain Flora, which is made up of specific states and somtimes specific counties of states.)

For example, this record was created for the GLI TCN.

The Project field is an attachment to a "Project" record type in the Catalogue Module.

To create a new Project record, click New and choose "Project" from the Record Type field. For most users, this defaults to "Specimen".

Enter the Name of the project. If you have any other information, this can be added too, but only name is required.

Click "yes" when saving the record to add the new project name to the look up list field.
