Overview

The Herbarium Digital Imaging Center currently contains 7 specimen imaging workstations. Two are equipped with studio flash lighting and five utilize a tabletop Photo-eBox with continuous illumination.

All imaging stations may be used for any Herbarium digitization project.

  • The Photo-eBox is the preferred choice for photographing standard-sized herbarium specimen sheets,
  • The open copystand setup at a flash lighting station is recommended for photographing bulky or oversized specimens, bound exsiccatae, and other materials not easily photographed inside the Photo-eBox.
