to steep slopes, dense when undisturbed. Canopy
@ 12 m, dominated near summit by Melastomaceae,
Rubiac., Myrs., Clusiac., and Protium.
Material preserved in alcohol.
Epiphytic vine with long, drooping branches.
Inflorescences terminal; buds green, nectary
deep red but for green adaxial stripe.
