Description
Pileus 1-2.5 cm broad, convex, dry, finely squamulose areolate, with dark brown squamules on a paler ground. Flesh white, unchanging, 3-4 mm thick, with mild odor and taste. Tubes pale yellow, depressed around the stipe, bluing with injury, with pores angular and up to 2 mm broad. Stipe 2-3 cm long, 2-3 mm broad, equal, dry, pruinose-fibrillose-striate, brown, with white basal mycelium.
