Description
Cap: 5 - 14 cm wide, convex to flat, red, yellow-red to opaque pink, becoming less red and more opaque olive-yellow in age; Flesh: whitish to pale yellow, blue-green when cut; Tubes: attached to decurrent, yellow, becoming olive-brown in age and blue-green when cut; Stipe: yellow, darker at the base, 9 - 11 cm tall, 1 - 2 cm thick, blue-green when cut or touch.
