Description
Pileus 0.7-1 cm broad, convex, dry, tomentose becoming areolate, red. Flesh yellow, thin, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Tubes yellow, unchanging, with pores concolorous, less than 1 mm broad, subporoid to subirregular. Stipe 1.5-2 cm long, 1-2 mm broad, equal or tapering downward, dry, subpruinose to striate, red above, yellow below and at base, not bruising; interior dark yellow, unchanging. NH4 (-) OR is this a Phylloporus like those from Africa?.
