Habitat

mature secondary montane cloud forest.

Description

terrestrial, more or less scandent lianoid shrub to 2.5 m long. leaves thick coriaceous; pedicels and calyx red; corolla with basal swollen part pentagonal, orangish-red. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

distal constricted part terete, white; style long-exserted. Immatureberry gree. Hummingbird visited
