Description
Terrestrial, more or less scandent lianoid shrub to 2.5 m long. Leaves thick coriaceous. Pedicels and calyx red. Corolla with basal swollen part pentagonal, orangish-red; distal constricted part terete, white. Style long-exserted. Immature berry erect, green. Hummingbird visited. [Pickled; wood; DNA].
