(1837) 357; ed, 2 (1845) iat&» ed. 8,,2- (1878) 103, L i^=TRIPHAS!A TRIFOLSA (Bum. f.) ¥, Wiis. in Torreya 9 (1909) 33 (T. trtfoliata DC., T. auraniiola Lour.)! The Linneap species was correctly interpreted by Blanco, but Limonia trifolia Burm. f. has priority. The speeies is common and widely distributed in thé settled areas of the Philippines and is certainly an introduced plant in the Archipelago. It is universally known 'in “the Phihppmes-by -its -Spanish name limoncitos.
