The Linneap species was correctly interpreted by Blanco, but
Limonia trifolia Burm. f. has priority. The speeies is common
and widely distributed in thé settled areas of the Philippines
and is certainly an introduced plant in the Archipelago. It is
universally known 'in “the Phihppmes-by -its -Spanish name
limoncitos.
Illustrative specimen from Pasay, Rizal Province, Luzon,
February, 1915 (Merrill: Species Blancoanae No. 795).
