U1 (as Q. costata, non Blume) non Lour.=QUERCUS SOLERIANA Vid. Rev. PL Vase. Filip. (1886) 261. This species was reduced by Fernandez-Villar to Quercus llanosii A. DC., but Blanco’s description applies better to the form described by Vidal as Quercus solerioma, the most common and most widely distributed species of the genus in thb Philippines.
