Description
Pileus 2.5-4 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, matted, subareolate in places, dull red (9C-D7,8). Flesh yellow cyanescent, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, honey yellow (4C-D6), cyanescent, with pores dull olive yellow, cyanescent. Stipe 4.5-6 cm long, 1-1.3 cm broad, equal, dry, subpruinose above, fibrillose streaked below, yellow at apex, dull pink below, dull red toward base, white at base, with interior yellow, solid, cyanescent, white at base. Spores smooth, boletoid.
