Description
Pileus 6 cm broad, plano-convex, dry, matted subtomentose to matted fibrillose, pale grayish brown to pale grayish red on disc, with some streaks of pink and yellow at margin, with even margin. Flesh yellow immediately cyanescent throughout, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, yellow to dark yellow (nearly 4D8), with concolorous, fine angular pores, immediately cyanescent. Stipe 7 x 2 cm, subclavate, dry, yellow with fine red subpruinose covering above, becoming finely scabrous below, with yellow rhizomorphs at base (actual base obscured by sand), with interior yellow, quickly cyanescent.
