Savanna; includes riparian edge forest and low gallery forest. Savanna dominated by Trachypogon plumosus with Byrsonima, Curatella, and melastomataceous shrubs.

Description
Shrub. Shrub 1 m; peduncles, calyx, and lower surfaces of leaves with tan vestiture; stamens yellow maturing orangish red. Fruit dark purple, globose, 0.6 cm diameter. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
