    Montane cloud forest. Quercus seemannii & Q. copeyensis. Gregarious. On soil.

  • Description

    Pileus 2-4 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, tomentose, to subtomentose, cinnamon brown, becoming finely areolate to finely squamulose. Flesh white to pale yellow, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Hymenophore tubulose, adnexed. Tubes olive (4C-D5), unchanging up to 3 mm long; pores concolorous unchanging. Stipe 1-4 cm long, 2-5 mm broad, fusoid (becoming broader below and then tapering to a point), dry, concolorous with pileus, pruinose, with yellow at base with white basal mycelium, with solid white interior.
