Description
Inflorescence of Packera aurea based on S. A. Mori et al. 27940 from the Westchester Wilderness Walk/Zofnass Family Preserve, Westchester Co., New York. This type of inflorescence is called a head (= capitulum). This species has two types of flowers: ray flowers around the margin and disk flowers in the middle.
