In disturbed deciduous forest in moist area near to the entrance, growing among skunk cabbage.

Description
Herb, 35 cm tall. Leaves heterophyllus, the basal leaves reniform or broadly cordate, the stem leaves pinatifid, overall shape variable but mostly oblong. Ray flowers bright yellow, disk flowers yellow but not as bright as ray flowers. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
