Description:

Occasional clumps of arching stems to 2 m. tall. Fruit light red. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

In old fields and brushy edges; forest and old fields reverting to forest. Quercus spp., Prunus serotina, Acer rubrum, A. saccharum, Juglans nigra, Ulmus rubra, Fraxinus americana, Carpinus caroliniana.
