Description:

Small, single-trunked tree, 4 m x 6 cm. Trunk undulate, Bark smooth, gray. Leaves red. Three-loped bract subtending fruit turning red. Fruits well developed. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Edge of late secondary forest in full sunlight.
