Description:

Tree, 20 x 25 cm. Bark light gray, shallowly fissured, the fissured reticulate. Stems dark purple, with scattered light-colored lenticels. Leaves: blades dark green adaxially, pale green abaxially, glabrous except for trichomes in axils of secondary veins and midrib (mites presemt). A few fruits found on ground, the pericarp only several mm thick. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

In late secondary deciduous forest.
