Description:

Understory tree, 4 m tall. Stipules green, caducous. Axillary buds stalked. Ferruginous trichomes in axils of the secondary veins with the midrib. Male and female catkins already forming for next year's flowering, both green. Phenology of specimen: Bud.
Habitat:

Swampy area dominated by deciduous trees.
