Description:

Tree, 25 m x 50 cm. Bark fissured, the ridge between grooves flat. No trichomes in axils of secondary veins with the midrib. Buds glabrous. Acorns picked up from ground. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

On hill on top of Great Stone Staircase in late secondary deciduous forest. Very common.
