Description:

Tree, 18 m tall. Flowers unisexual, staminate and pistillate catkins on same tree. The male catkins pendent, longer than female catkins, the female catkins more erect. Male catkins 95-105 mm long x ca. 9 mm wide in middle. Female catkins:18-25 mm long x ca. 5-6 mm wide in middle. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

At edge of old secondary growth.
