Description:

Tree 3 cm diam. Spontaneous. This specimen came from a large patch of Nyssa sylvatica that is regenerating here. The population is about 200 square meters and consists of 100s of stems ranging from 1 cm diam to 5 and 6 cm diam and 6 m tall, one tree is about 15 cm diam. The population is nearly a monoculture of Nyssa.
Habitat:

Woodland dominated by Nyssa sylvatica with Lindera benzoin and Viburnum dentatum and Viburnum prunifolium.
