Description:

Tree, 22 m x 50 cm. Bark fissured. Petioles pulvinate, pubescence, especially towrd base. Leaf blades brown pubescent in axils between seconday veins and midrib. Mature fruits abundant, collected from ground. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Deciduous forest dominated by oaks, maples, and tulip trees.
