Description:

Herb, 1.2 m talll. Stem hollow, exuding white latex when cut. Flowers at anthesis present. Fruits green, slightly winged (alate), nearly mature, ovary with 2 locules. Phenology of specimen: Fruit, Flower.
Habitat:

Wet area in deciduous forest dominated by red maple.
