Description:

Cap: 1 cm wide; flat to sunken; zoned; silky; shiny; cinnamon to ambar-brown; darker center; While young: cylindrical to funnel shape, no cap. Tubes: yellow-brown, not decurrent. Stalk: 0.7-1.5 cm long; central, velvety, dark-brown.
Habitat:

Along trail (hard-packed soil).
