Description:

Tree 30 m tall, the trunk ca 50 cm diam; bark furrowed, the ridges very long and straight, flat, low, the furrows dark, shallow, rough; buds red. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Rich moist forest at edge of pond.
