Description:

Annual. 20-80cm tall, all parts densely long-pubescent. Leaves flat, green, lanceolate. Calyx narrowed above, green or purplish, teeth linear, aristate. Petal limp red, sometimes with white spots, narrowly ovate, barbulate, dentate.
Habitat:

Forest edge. Plant cover 70%. Fagus orientalis, Quercus iberica, Epilobium montanum, Plantago major, Carex buschiorum, Rhododendron luteum.
