Description:

Woody vine, stem slender, ca. 4 mm diam. Leaves arising periodically from stem running along ground. Scattered prickles along stem, stipules narrow. Fruit first green, then red, and then possibly black but too early in the season for the fruits to be mature. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Late secondary deciduous forest. Very common along path in forest.
