Description:
Tree, 22 m x 25 cm. Bark gray, smooth. Stems reddish-brown, with scattered light lenticels. Male flowers in pendulous heads of at least 20 flowers, the pedicels slender, pubescent, 3-6 cm long, the filaments white, anthers green. Female flowers solitary, erect (pedicel ca. 5 mm long), at apex of leaf shoot. Leaf flush subtended by yellow area where numerous bud scales fell. Trees monoecious. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
