Tree 4.5 m tall, the main stem arching, 7 cm diam; bark smooth, dark grey, longitudinally sulcate; twigs and petioles red; emergent leaves bronze/green; mature leaves broadly revoluted or cupped downward, the adaxial veins distinctly impressed. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
