Description:

Species Description - Perennial, densely puberulent; stems erect, 3-20 dm. high. Leaves ovate, 2-8 cm. long, serrate, acute at the apex, mostly obtuse or subcordate at the base, the petioles 4.5 cm. long or less; flowers in secund spiked cymules, the inflorescence elongated; calyx 3-4 mm. long, puberulent, its subulate lobes nearly as long as the tube; corolla whitish, little longer than the calyx, the upper lip 2-lobed, the lower 3-lobed; nutlets granular, about 1 mm. long.
