Description:
Species Description - Plants terrestrial. Rhizomes short-creeping. Fronds monomorphic, 50-100 cm long; petiole pale brown, canaliculate 20-50 cm long; blade covered with hairs, with 2-6 pairs of pinnae and a terminal pinna, foliar buds present; pinnae elliptic, 12-22 X 3-6 cm, crenulate, the veins forming 3-9 areoles. Indusia absent.
Distribution and Ecology - Understory in secondary and primary forests.
