Description:

Species Description - Plants epiphytic. Rhizomes creeping, 15 mm diam., covered with dark-brown scales with paler margins, the scales 7 mm long. Fronds widely spaced, few, pinnate; petiole beige, 12-22 cm long; blade lanceolate, with 5-15 pairs of pinnae plus terminal pinna; pinnae elliptic, 8-20 x 1.5-2 cm, acute at summit, adnate or petiolulate; veins reticulate, the areoles with included free veinlet. Sori round, located in 1-3 rows at apex of free veinlets.

Distribution and Ecology - Rather common, in lowland and cloud forests.
