Description:

Species Description - Rhizomes creeping, terrestrial or short-climbing on trunks of trees, covered with linear, golden-brown scales. Fronds dimorphic. Sterile fronds pinnate, with 4-12 pairs of pinnae, plus terminal pinna, thick, coriaceous, glabrous; pinnae ovate to lanceolate, scarcely petiolate, 15-25 X 3-8 cm, unequal at base, the margins entire, the veins furcate toward base, parallel, connected by vein along margin. Fertile fronds pinnate to weakly bipinnate, longer and more erect than sterile ones; petiole 40-85 cm long; pinnae linear, 8-18 X 0.5-2 cm; pinnules parallel, 0.5-1 X 0.1-0.3 mm. Sori covering entire surface; indusia absent.
