Brazil. Acre. Cruzeiro do Sul Mun. Basin of Rio Juruá, Igarapé Humaitá, 3.5 hours by motorboat up from confluence with Rio Juruá (opposite Porto Valter).

Description:

Tree, 18 m tall, dbh 18 cm. Outer bark brown, fissured, thick. Perianth cream with red-purple fringe, androecial hood yellow within. Rare. 10 m from high-water mark of river.
