Puerto Rico. Yauco. Bo. Susúa Alta; western edge of Susúa Forest Reserve; along dirt road on ridge above the W branch of Río Loco. Road begins opposite abandoned school, Escuela Juan Morell Campos. Alt. 320 m. (1050 ft.)

Description:

Prostrate from extensive tap root and rooting at nodes; fertile branches ascending; flowers lavender with white on keel; fruits brown. Local in semi-shaded area on dirt road.

Habitat:

Low sclerophyllous forest on serpentine.
