Habitat:

Metamorphic zone, schistose rocks, area rising above mineralized area of surrounding hills; shaded soil beneath Beaucarnea tree, with Selaginella sp. Beaucarnea, Eupatorium, Maguey, Slavia spp., cacti frequent, leguminous scrub.
