Mexico. Oaxaca. S (right) side of Mex. Hwy. 190 from Oaxaca to Tehuantepec, 0.3 km E of bridge over river, 26 km (by rd.) E of Totolapan, 9 km (by rd.) W of San José de Gracia. Alt. 600 m. (1968 ft.)

Description:

Both shrubs & small trees, 1.5-3.4 m tall, forming a colony; cor. white, lobes w/ broad green midveins. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Fruit.
Habitat:

Transition zone between dry rocky road bank and cultivated field. Assoc. = Acacia spp., Jatropha, & Cnidoscolus urens. Fine porous soil.
