Description:

Shrub to 2m. Upper stems and leaves (undersurface) brown tomentose. Flowers up to 2 cm, petals creamy white, caducous. Filaments & style pink, turning to magenta, persistent. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Cerrado, sloping terrain, facing NW. Lateritic; disturbed ground. Low shrub comunity.
