Description:

Shrub ca. 1 m tall. Corolla white, anthers yellow, calyx lobes reflexed. Leaves and branches held in one plane (leaves distichous). Fruits start out light white to yellow, eventually turn shiny black. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Undisturbed Atlantic coastal rain forest.
