Bolivia. El Beni. Cercado Prov. 4 km. N of Loma de Suarez, along Rio Ibare, a tributary parallelling the Rio Mamore. Alt. 200 m. (656 ft.)

Description:

Shrub 1.5 m. tall, some others to 2.5 m. tall and much branched by hoglot. Flowers with thick sweet fragrance; corolla purple. Fruit green, held downwards. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

Seasonally inundated secondary growth forest and around farm. In banana plantation.
