Description:

Shrub 1.5 m tall above water level; inflorescence ascending, scorpiod; flowers on reflexed pedicels; calyx whitish green; petals white, spreading; anthers yellow, erect; fruits ascending, globose, green. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

Igapó forest on many islands; water 2 m above grounds on islands.
