Description:

Strikingly handsome fern with vase-like habit similar to that of ostrich fern with numerous stems arising from center of plant and erect-ascuneding, chartaceous, deep green above, paler below; scales at base blackish. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Marshy ground of morichal.Selva ribereña.
