Description:

Spreading herb to ca. 20 cm. Leaves soft, mid green above, pale beneath. Phyllaries dull green with purple-red tips. Corolla bright purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Disturbed ground, including cultivation, marsh and woodland.
