Description:

Leafy perennial herb 50 cm. high. Capitula with green bracts, with tip and margin reddish-purple. Florets very bright purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Coastal rain forest with leaf litter. Damp roadside through partially burnt forest clearings. This plant growing in burn forest clearing.
