Tree to 7m with arched bole, cauliflorous; fruits w green exocarp; seed endosperm purple. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

"Altura" (forest elevated above old floodplain). Primary, non-flooded, Subtrop Moist Forest. Sandy soil.
