Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Ignacio Warnes Prov. 4.5 km NE from RR on road to Okinawa, the RR crossing on the SE side of Warnes. Alt. 320 m. (1050 ft.)

Description:

Shrub 1.2 m tall. A poor, open and windy habitat for this species, thus the damaged leaves. Fruit basically green with tannish red caste. Seeds covered by oily orange-red substance.

Habitat:

Flat, sandy area surrounded by pastures, with appearance of former savanna.
